As a coach and as a #professionalbeginner I say this constantly in my coaching sessions. And if I’m being honest? I still have to remind myself of it just as much: The most dangerous thing to a body starting over is trying to start where you left off. And thinking that you can force and will yourself into things that your body is no longer conditioned to do is the best way to get sidelined and possibly injured again.
