Protecting Your Peace

Just a little reminder to those that need to hear it. Protecting your peace is allowed to look selfish to people who benefited from your exhaustion.

Let that sink in.

You don’t owe anyone access to a version of you that was running on empty.

Recently I’ve been choosing myself more and more and it looks selfish to everyone who has benefited over the years (okay really my lifetime) from me not doing that. But this is an all new season of me. I’m choosing me more and more and I’m done explaining my growth to people who liked me better when I was stuck in their benefit.

Choose yourself even when it scares you.

Evolving is not betrayal.
